My Christian walk started at the age of 7, when I walked down the aisle of my church in Lafayette, Louisiana. I had not realized what was happening in my life, except that I knew I needed to do it.

Throughout my teenage years, even though I was a good kid, I did not realize what God was telling me. However, at the age of 17, God made it clear that I needed to be His servant, and to follow His call into ministry. I had not begun to see where God would take me until I started learning to play guitar, only 8 or 9 months after I accepted the call.

I have been discipled through my college life at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where I started playing with the BSU's praise band, known as Ecclesia. This was my first experience leading worship, which sprouted into a love for the worship ministry.

Since then, God has opened up opportunities that have shaped my outlook on ministry and my relationship with God, including the birth of my daughter, Julianne. God continues to stretch and mold me to be the man he plans for me to be. My next step in my spiritual walk will be listening and acting on where God wants me to go.
